Hi my names Jayme! And as some of you may know I had my baby my little boy Elias! It hasn't been an easy journey at 20 weeks pregnant I found out he has a complete AVSD, at 25 weeks pregnant I went and did genetic testing three different type of testing which all came back normal. My son is now going to be 3 months old and started his lasix medication, next month he will undergo open heart surgery at Morgan Stanley children's hospital, where they will repair his heart and close the AVSD.

(A complete AVSD occurs when there is a large hole in the center of the heart which allows blood to flow between all four chambers of the heart. This hole occurs where the septa (walls) separating the two top chambers (atria) and two bottom chambers (ventricles) normally meet.)

I'm not one to ask for help, but anything would help go towards his medical bills and hospital stay! As I will be out of work during the time his surgery takes place. Praying everyday for my baby.
