Elias's fight against COVID-19

Hello all, I have started this fundraiser for my Uncle, Elias Figueroa, who is currently fighting COVID-19. Elias was infected by the virus and has been in the hospital for over 30 days. Unfortunately, this virus has severely attacked his lungs and he is not able to breathe on his own. Elias has been on a ventilator for a month, and recently underwent a Tracheostomy surgery and had a feeding tube placed on 8/4/20. He has been heavily sedated for most of his time in the hospital, which led to a medically induced coma. Elias is slowly recovering, however there is still a very long road ahead. Once he shows two negative COVID test results, he can hopefully transfer to a long term acute care facility, in which his treatment will consist of minimum 6-12 months of physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy, while continuously monitoring his oxygen levels.  

With that being said, Elias will be out of work for at least a year. I am looking to raise funds for the Figueroa family to help with all medical expenses and any other bills during this time. Ross Figueroa, his wife, has been able to still work, though will greatly appreciate any help. We all know how hard this can be, especially during a pandemic.
