My medical transition journey began in April of 2021, when I had a double mastectomy, and continued from then with the addition of hormone replacement therapy that following summer. Now, nearly 5 years later, I'll be undergoing a second gender affirming procedure to help my body match the person I've always been on the inside, and make sure that I am living to be the truest (and healthiest) version of myself.

I will be having surgery on January 29th. The recovery period for this procedure is up to 6 weeks of minimal activity, and it will impact my ability to work at all of my jobs. The money from this fundraiser will help keep me afloat with the limited income I will have for that period, and ensure that I am able to take my time and let my body heal properly.
