He estado muy enfermo con COVID y por separado con un absceso que requirió cirugía de emergencia. Ayer me dieron de alta del hospital después de dos visitas a la sala de emergencias, una cirugía de emergencia y cinco días de hospitalización.

No tengo seguro médico y mis médicos me exigen que no vaya al trabajo durante al menos tres semanas, y posiblemente más, dependiendo de la rapidez con la que se recupere mi cuerpo. Hello, my family and friends. I am writing to you because I need your help.

You all know me. You know that I am a hardworking man. But recently something very hard has happened to me. I have been very sick with COVID and separately with an abscess that required emergency surgery. Yesterday I was discharged from the hospital after two emergency room visits, emergency surgery, and five days of hospitalization.

I do not have medical insurance and my doctors are requiring me to stay off of work for at least three weeks, and possibly longer depending on how quickly my body heals. I am receiving intensive medical treatment both for the abscess and its surgery and for the damage COVID has done to my lungs. I am facing very large medical bills and the need to be able to continue to provide for myself and for my family responsibilities until I am able to work again.

So, my family and friends, I am asking for your help. Please look into your heart. If you have a desire to help, please help me. If you are not able to help or do not feel like it is right for you, I understand.
