Hi, my name is Kayla Cash-Welch and I am starting a fundraiser to help with burial costs for my 12 year old who suddenly passed away on Monday, October 18th. He was getting ready for school and passed out in prayer position at the end of his bed. I truly believe my baby was asking for God's help to save him. Thank you to MFD and Children's WISCONSIN for doing all you could to save my baby. But God needed him more. I can't understand why but I am no one to question God.

I am awaiting official autopsy results but preliminary reports of meningitis. I don't know how he got this and I am hoping the final results tell me more information. He was a healthy child, no medical conditions, tested negative for Covid on October 14. He had taken his first dose of a covid vaccine 08/25. FINAL REPORTS NAME MYOCARDITIS AS CAUSE OF DEATH WHICH IS KNOWN SIDE EFFECT OF COVID VACCINES. I lost my child hoping to protect him.

 

His name is Eliahn Ja'Mal Cash-Wright and he was a heck of a kid. As the oldest of 5 children, he always made sure to look after his siblings whether they were walking to school or playing in the front yard, he was there to protect him. He was full of life and dreams. He knew that he was going to be a star one day. He wrote songs. He danced. He loved Ariana Grande, Beyonce, and Nikki Minaj. He was "unapologetically " him as described by his cheerleading coach. He was already a star in my eyes. He was well-versed for a 12 year old, conversation for days. I will truly miss my son. And I honestly don't know how to move forward.

 

Fortunately, I do have life insurance for my children so most bases are covered. Just running a little short because I only had life insurance as a precaution that I would have never thought I'd actually have to use. But I was not aware of the rising costs of burials.
