Eli Young Family Tragedy Support Fund

Folks,

We have had a tragedy in the EATS Highland family that we need your help with. This morning one of Eli & Breana’s little girls died in a automobile accident.

They were hit by a speeding driver that was running from the police.

All four of them were hurt. We do not know how seriously, but their 5 year-old daughter, Kam,  died after being critically injured in the accident and rushed to Children’s Hospital of Alabama. As far as we know Eli is still in a coma at UAB Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit—although worse has been reported on WBRC 6 news. We are hoping that the reports are wrong. Breana is recovering along with their other daughter, Izzy, who is 2 years old.

Many of you know Breana (or Brea)—you go to church with her, or she does your hair, or she brings you your food at EATS Highland with a smile on her face that warms even a rainy day. Eli grills the food that she brings and he has a great time doing it. He loves coming to work and we love working with him. He has been at EATS since almost the beginning. He is also a veteran, having served several tours overseas in combat. He was even injured on our behalf while serving in Afghanistan.

Their car was totaled, Eli is in the hospital, and at the same time they have to prepare to bury their precious daughter.

Please help these folks out by donating what ever you are able. They need it and deserve it. They are the best, most hard-working folks I know and my heart just cries for them and their family right now. I cannot imagine what they are going through.
