Eli Ward's Broken Leg/Trampoline Accident
Donation protected
Eli is an active 16 year old, with a kind and helpful personality. He was enjoying a friend's birthday party at a local indoor trampoline park. As he was jumping a circuit of "Super-Trampolines", which he had done multiple times, he launched from the trampoline, and his right tibia/fibula snapped under him.
Eli had an ER admission, and surgery the following day to insert a titanium rod into his lower leg. He cannot put any weight on his leg for 8 weeks, full recovery can take up to 9 months.
We have been accumulating the hospital bills since it happened on October 5. Many of these bills are on a "due upon receipt" format, some have a 30 day grace period. We hope to have them paid fully by Thanksgiving.
This accident happened at a time when we don't have insurance coverage.
Thank you for taking time to consider our situation.
We are a family committed to following Christ and know that He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we can ask or think. Our purpose in this gofundme account is to make the need known for those who are gifted to give, and allowing opportunity for others to give as they realize God's prompting. Please don't give if you can't give cheerfully, or with thankfulness on your own part. Thank you for helping to bear one another's burdens, even in a financial way.
