2024 - Eli Tennant Education Fund: Empowering Children
Donation protected
The Eli Tennant Education Fund was established to honor the memory of Eli Tennant, a Pastor, Mentor, and Father to many. He was an inspirational leader who taught us that although we were children who lived in the ghetto, we could change the trajectory of our lives through education and a disciplined approach to life. Daddy T, as we affectionately called him, taught us to dream big and believe that we could achieve anything in life if we worked hard. His encouragement and support paved the way for many of us to attain unimaginable life goals before he came into our lives.
His passion and belief in giving children an opportunity to succeed is the driving force behind this Scholarship Fund. We aim to help children who are brilliant but whose parents lack the means to send them to school as an opportunity to realize their potential and have a positive impact on our global community.
We often complain about the state of the communities we blame for raising people we label undesirable because there seems to be no hope that they will get better. We hope that you will join us in sowing seeds that will grow and bring about the change that we all want to see.
Thanks to your support, we have directly assisted approximately 50 students with scholarships and stipends. This has led to graduates from Medical School, Business School, and Teacher's College, as well as high school students now in universities in Jamaica, Canada, and the USA. Since the inception of our program, we have provided textbooks, tablets, and computers to well over 80 students. Your contribution has made all this possible, and we are just starting.
We urgently need your help to invest in these children today. By doing so, we can prevent the need for rehabilitation tomorrow. Your support is crucial in shaping their future.
God bless you.
