Elgin, IL Antique Dealer Dale Furness

Donation protected
Many of you know long-time Wolff's, Kane and DuPage flea market dealer Dale Furness, or just plain old "Dale" from his years of setting up at the flea markets with his red Dodge Caravan and tables full of beer flats, filled with treasures.
Last January Dale began experiencing severe back pain, and set up his table at Zurko's Pheasant Run show bent over in pain(though never complaining, as usual). Over the following couple of months the pain got worse, and he was nearly bent over double and had trouble walking.
By the beginning of April he was having trouble setting up his booths at and did only one or two Wolff's markets before the pain became to much to handle(again, with hardly a complaint to anyone).  It was only in July that doctors finally discovered a severe bladder infection. This was addressed and provided much relief to Dale, but something else was happening, and he could not walk more than a few steps, and this was with the aid of a walker. There was some though that the infected bladder has swollen so much, it may have pushed up against the nerves in his back, affecting his legs and ability to walk.  As of this writing, Dale has been unable to walk for 5-6 months and living in a basement apartment 12 steps down has removed the ability to even leave his apartment.
Dale's wonderful half-sister Margot and his half-brother (sorry bro, I forgot your name) have been providing him with food, hygiene needs and assistance, but Margot is unemployed and also in financial distress and may lose her home, if some relief does not appear.
I am asking for all of Dale's friends, flea market customers and vendors to come together, in the spirit of the season, and also in Dale's small town spirit of generosity and friendliness, to donate what you can, so we can get Dale & Margot the help they need to pay the medical bills, rent and other expenses, and find the path to health.
I've set a very low bar for this campaign, so at the very least, Dale will get something, and at the best we will raise enough to get him through the next year in good shape.
Everyone loves Dale because he embodies the humble, generous spirit reminiscent of the best of small-town(North Dakota) America.  Please share this everywhere, donate and let Dale's friends know he needs their help(btw Dale does not know I am doing this, and he would be mad if he knew about it, he never asked nor wanted anything from anyone).
