On Thanksgiving day this year, a tragic accident occurred that involved 11 individuals. We first ask for prayer for everyone involved. I can’t even imagine what these family members are experiencing. Sadly 5 lost their lives and others are in the hospital battling for their lives. Thanks to a community leader (Justin Murphy) and several others, it was put on their hearts to try to come together and help raise some funds for those involved in the wreck. There are several who need assistance with burial, bodies that will need to be sent to their country of birth, medical expenses, living expenses, and other expenses that are incurred at this time and some are unable to work.
There is a husband who lost his wife and only son (3 years old). He is grieving and isn’t able to work at this time. There is a single mom who has twin boys ( 10 years old) all of whom were involved in the accident. She hasn’t been able to see them in person since the wreck due to she is in a totally different hospital than her twins. Another gentleman is in terrible condition in ICU with multiple injuries. A family lost their beloved father and husband and the mother remains in critical care in the hospital. The children of this family are assisting in taking care of other wreck victims who remain in two hospitals. We have been working with individuals on getting contact information for the living and deceased. The language barrier has played an important role. Most of these individuals have worked in the agriculture industry for over 30 years. Their means of providing for their families is solely physical production labor. We would like to assist them in taking some of the burden off of these families by raising funds to be distributed equally among those in need. Join us in donating what you can to help these families.
We understand if you are unable to donate, please lift all involved in prayer. The driver of the other vehicle also sustained serious injuries and we would like to lift him in prayer as well.
Some of these individuals have a long road to recovery.
Thank you
