Elevating Kristen

If you have ever met Kristen Keys, you know she is one of the kindest, most caring humans on the planet. You may also know that she and her two boys live with Muscular Dystrophy. Finding employment that would allow Kristen to work from home and use her gifts of connecting with people and spreading kindness and care has been challenging.  But a few months ago, she landed a job with Spectrum Health scheduling Covid tests and now, vaccines. She absolutely LOVES her job, and it is evident every time she talks about it! Additionally, working has given her a greater sense of purpose and allows her to be more independent. Unfortunately, sitting for long periods of time without much time to move around and stand up (which takes longer for Kristen due to limitations in her muscle strength) is starting to take a toll on her body, and especially her circulation. There is a pretty simple solution to this problem, a new chair that provides greater support and can elevate her to standing more easily. The downside is the cost - $3000. This is where her community comes in. Together,  we can raise the $3k to get Kristen this chair which will allow her to keep her job! $10, $15 and $20 contributions add up and can make this possible for this wonderful human!
