Ekos Essential Heart Endeavor

Hello, dear friends! As many of you are aware, our beloved Eko is facing open-heart surgery in just three weeks. What's more, we've recently welcomed a new addition to our family – our precious baby Zay! With these two life-changing events occurring in such close succession, we're turning to our cherished friends and family for support.

Open-heart surgery is an incredibly costly procedure, and we're feeling the financial strain. We're not only seeking to cover the substantial surgery expenses but also secure a nearby Airbnb close to the hospital. This accommodation is crucial to ensure we can be by Eko's side throughout her recovery without interruption. Unfortunately, due to hospital protocols, our son can't accompany us into the ICU while she recovers, making it vital for us to have a nearby place to rest. This will enable seamless rotations between caring for our children and minimize the hours spent commuting between home and the hospital.

The medical professionals have estimated that Eko may need anywhere from 5 to 14 days to recover in the hospital. Additionally, we're prepared to take up to two weeks of unpaid leave from work to be there for Eko during this challenging period.
