Help elephant caretaker Philip to a new prosthetic leg!
Donation protected
Philip, is a caretake for baby elephants at Reteti, a community-led elephant sanctuary taking care of orphaned elephants. With his amazing and nurturing work he helps elephant on their path back to the wild.
As a child, he was shot in the leg and had to undergo an amputation. Since then he had limited access to proper high quality prosthetic care and is in desperate need of a new socket and prosthetic leg. It is our turn to help Philip on his legs again so he can continue his incredible work at Reteti.
I would like to raise funds through my first ever sprint triathlon and I would love your donation. ALL contribution will be going to Philip for a new prosthetic leg from Circleg and a socket made by the best prosthetic workshop in Nairobi, Kenya.
I will swim, bike and run as fast as I can to make your donation count. Let the love he has for the orphan elephants speak to you and together help to get him a high quality leg.
Cost of socket and gait training: CHF1145,-
Cost of prosthetic leg: CHF487,-
Cost of travel: CHF168,-
