My name is Eleanor Perez, the oldest daughter of Eleonor Perez. My beautiful mother just celebrated her 50th birthday on November 25th, the day after Thanksgiving. She became ill, and in a matter of days her sickness took a turn for the worst. She was rushed to the hospital in the early morning on November 30th, and she never returned home.

My mother was a warrior queen, she did everything in her power to make sure my little sister Laura and I were safe and sound. She sacrificed her life, and her dreams to provide for us and she never asked for anything back in return. My mother was selfless, she was so smart and she was a fighter- never taking no for an answer. All she ever wanted was for our family to be happy and stick together. She did not have much, but my mother would give the shirt off her back if you needed it. She is the strongest woman I have ever known, and I will spend the rest of my life honoring her and her memory. My mother Eleonor is survived by her granddaughter, two daughters, her brother and sister.

After my mother's unexpected passing, my sister and I have been struggling to accept our new reality. We are financially burdened and heartbroken and it has been a difficult time for our family. To honor my mother we would like to respect her wishes and have a small service in her memory. Any support contributed will help us with expenses and her final arrangements. It would mean the world to our family.
