Elena's Team Needs Your Support

At recess, my daughter, Elena, was told by a boy that girls don’t play football… in fact, they can’t… that there were no girls doing it… it’s not on TV or cared about, so why even play…

This caused a lot of feelings, and when I asked her what she wanted to do with it, she asked to make a TikTok video looking for other sports girls, specifically football girls, if they existed. We very quickly got replies!! Every single one touched our hearts, but there was something about the reply from Nana, a player with the Kansas City Glory, that hit different. Long story made way too short, this team has become our heart, and we are so excited that they have made playoffs. What we unfortunately learned is that this little boy is partially right. Women don’t play football like the boys do… they play hard, and they’re very good, but they’re not supported the same, especially financially… these girls have to pay to play, which means now that they’ve made playoffs, they need to be able to financially afford to go!!!

Playoffs are in a couple of weeks, and we want to help our favorite team get there!!
