Elena's Family lost everything in Lahaina Maui

Aloha,

It's been a devasting journey in Lahaina, Maui.

Elena is a 7yr old who survived along with her father but they lost their car, home and family business, Maui Surfshop. It had been in the famlly for centuries.

It's easy to overlook tradgedy and stay in tune with our busy lives but today I'm asking you to take a minute and stop. Picture yourself as this father who had just put in a large purchase of products for his family store. September is a busy month in Maui and he was preparing for the visitors. Then in one day it was all burnt up..............melted to the ground even. Their family car, their pet, home and family store. Not only did this family lose everything they are currently staying in a shack with no running water or utilities.

They will use these funds for a car, to fix up the shack so they have somewhere to live while they rebuild their life in Lahaina. They're home and store.
