The medical bills are overwhelming. So sad to report Josie has recently passed away. She was an amazing little soul that touched many hearts. Elena & Josie were partners for 14 years, inseparable. This is a heartbreaking time - with financial stress piled on top.

My dear friend Elena Keating has done countless GoFundMe campaigns, raising thousands of dollars for friends in cancer recovery, people needing shelter and childcare or as in my case, she helped save my cat's life. Her incredible pup Josie Marie is very sick and has a rough recovery road ahead. The last few days have already racked up large bills as all efforts were done to get Josie healthy enough for emergency surgery to remove her ruptured spleen that has filled her tummy with blood.
** Any amount helps! Sharing this post on Fbook or emailing the link to Drake High Alumni, the Bay Area music community and any of Elena’s friends or past co-workers will help a lot!!

We need to do our best to help our girl who has stepped up to help so many. Josie is a special little soul, a little human in a dog suit, who bravely bounced back from sudden blindness 2 years ago. She's a comedienne filled with love and light. She has more life to live! Please help make that happen.
