Help Javier and Kiki open their studio
If you’ve ever taken a class with Javier and Kiki then you know they are the real deal. Their focus on technique is unmatched. Their investment and dedication to their students is unparalleled. They make you forget they are world champions, not because you don’t see their absolute extraordinary talent, but because they are so down to earth, heartfelt and caring. Javier and Kiki are not only incredible dancers, they also are incredible teachers, with such a talent and passion to teach.
Yet, they could be teaching even more. However, without their own studio space this venture becomes challenging. Studio space is hard to find, limited in availability, and expensive. A dedicated studio, however, will let them teach more often, in one location, and in a studio built for dancers. They have found a potential space in Culver City where they can grow their curriculum, but they need our help. If you have ever taken classes from them, seen them perform, or even know someone else who has been touched by them, now is your chance to give back to two beautiful human beings who have done and will continue to do so much for the Latin dance community.
With the new space they will not only offer Salsa and Bachata classes and teams, but also conditioning, musicality, fundamentals, and even pilates. They will also host special workshops and events with dance masters. The new space will allow them to expand their competition training programs and provide a wide range of options for both adults and youth to explore their dance journey.
We estimate that remodeling and startup costs will come to about $50k.
Let’s help two truly beautiful human beings open their studio and continue their dream to inspire the next generation of dancers!
