Help Lyn Regain Her Independence

Hi, my name is Adam, and I’m Lyn’s oldest son. I’m writing this on behalf of our family, to ask for help during an incredibly difficult time.

Recently, our beautiful mum, Lyn, was diagnosed with terminal cancer. As you can imagine, the news has been devastating to all of us. Lyn has always been the rock of our family — endlessly generous, fiercely loving, and the first to show up for anyone in need. She and her husband Mick have spent their lives giving — to their family, to friends, and to their community.

Now, it’s our turn to give back to her.

Over the past few months, Mum’s condition has taken a toll both mentally and physically. Her mobility has declined significantly, and even small outings, like a quick trip to the local shops, have become too much. While she’s undergone some radiation therapy, her independence has faded — and that loss has been incredibly tough on her.

We are hoping to raise funds to purchase a high-quality **electric wheelchair** to help Mum regain a sense of freedom and control over her life. Something that would allow her to get around more easily, enjoy time outside, and be part of the everyday moments she’s always cherished.

This chair isn’t just about comfort — it’s about restoring dignity, confidence, and a bit of normalcy in a time that feels anything but normal.
