"Electric Snow Viper" - A CSU Thesis Short Film

Nightclubs first started off as a place where anyone of any age, ethnicity, sexuality, ect. could gather to one cohesive place and be able to let themselves free from social-political climate that was going on during that time. As of today, nightclubs are over commercialized center pieces for people with copious amount of money to show off. However, there are glimmers of hope..

My short film, "Electric Snow Viper", portrays the everlasting impact of club culture and its ever changing nature to conform to the youth of tomorrow. The short follows a desperate nightclub owner, George, as he recognizes the shift in club culture and how little impact he has anymore. From drugs, music, to a new generation of young adults, can one night prompt this yearning man to hang up the coat and give the keys to someone new.

Last year, I was able to direct my first successful funded short film called Needle Drop. With that short, it was locally featured in the Cleveland State University Student Showcase and more plans to be featured in other prestigious festivals as well. This project is no exception to what I made last year, which is to make an groundbreaking short film that will leave an impact on every audiences.

As this being my senior thesis film, it's important to be able to go above and beyond for making this short film at the best it can. With doing Needle Drop last year, it taught me how much funders mean to help out a project like this. As this the second time doing a short with a budget, it's double the amount money and work. It's my duty to create something that all my donors are proud of and are fortunate to be apart of, and that's what I set out to do.

With the help of funders for this project, this will help any production cost needed to help make this film come to life. This includes but not limited too: Craft Services, Film Festival Costs, Locations, Costumes, Props, Transportation, Set Design, Hair/Makeup, and many other costs.
