Electric car, don't do it! You can get further on an ebike!

Im having a total nightmare, please help me.

Last June I got an electric car on finance, 2 massive mistakes.

I foolishly believed, sovereign, my land lord,would allow me to install en Ev charging point as I park my car next to my house,off road. After all the government wants us to all go electric.

I got the car on finance as I am a low earner and it was the only way, I thought,to move forward.

So a nice little electric Smart car arrives.

At this point I'm still waiting to have the go ahead from my landlord from social housing for the Ev point. It was declined however the time it had taken to reply was over 5 weeks at which point I couldn't return the car.

It was all very foolish and my son pointed out most people would.have checked before hand.

So social housing said no. The car finance wouldn't let me return the car as it had to have been under 30 days.

What a mess.

The Smart car only goes 80 miles on a full battery and I now struggle to go visit my mum or any friends who live 30 miles away. I can't put the heating on and try to travel in the light,else the battery is used up.

The only way to change my car is to part exchange it. However there is a short fall my end of £2,500,which needs to be a bank draft. The car is worth approx £7500,but the finance company want £10,300 for it.

My mental health is suffering and I cannot see how I am going to get out of this black hole. If anyone can help me I would be truly grateful x
