In April 2025 Electric Athletics Midnight, a cheerleading team based in Salford will be competing in the Cheerleading Worlds in Florida! We are a team of 26 athletes, starting from age 15 to 38 with experience ranging from 2 years to over 10 years.

To compete in the world championships at cheer is one of the highest achievements of our sport and we have worked hard, and will continue to put in our best until we get there.

To help us reach the US, we will be taking part in a sponsored tumble where our athletes will be doing 1 backflip (as well as an alternative for our non tumblers) for every kilometre from our Salford location to the ESPN arena in Florida - that 6830 backflips!
