Eleanor’s Fight against Leukemia
Donation protected

Eleanor is a vibrant and happy three year old who loves life and her beautiful mother, Hannah who is a hardworking single mother. On Thursday, June 2nd 2022, Ella was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. On Friday, June 3rd 2022 she started chemotherapy. Hannah will be unable to work as she usually does to focus solely on Eleanor and her treatment.
All funds raised will go DIRECTLY to Hannah and Eleanor for costs related to treatment. They’ll be driving to and from Portland several times a week which will require loads of gas and meals on the go. We ask that you give if you can and SHARE!!!
From Hannah (Mom) directly “So far what we went over today is that we’ll be driving to Portland twice a week for transfusions, chemo, spinal taps, and another bone marrow extraction towards the end of the month to see if there’s been progress. She’s on a 28 day regimen starting today (6/3) and then she’ll get a week off to re test and evaluate what the best plan will be according to the information we get. She has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Standard treatment for this is 2.5 years of chemo and transfusions and whatnot. If she becomes more at risk (it gets more aggressive) then they will adjust her treatment plan accordingly. They said to plan to have to be at home with her more because she will become very dependent with it being in her bones. We should find out later today if it’s gotten into her spinal and cerebral fluid, not looking likely from what they’ve seen this far, but sent to to a pathologist to get final results. Monetary helps and meals will likely be most beneficial, as far as driving to Portland so often, possibly having to stay up here if she has a bad reaction to anything. And just the stress of having to cook all the time. They said with the steroid she’s starting that she will be super moody and have an increased appetite, like wake up in the night starving and needing to eat.”
We will post updates as they happen. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to read, share, donate and PRAY for Eleanor James’ FULL healing from this terrible disease.
