Eleanor Margaret Wilson
I am a friend of Eleanor's grandson Lee Wilsons. He has been going through the most difficult of times recently he lost his mother only a few months ago. And on Christmas eve he lost his beloved grandmother Eleanor. For those who know Lee they would know how close he was to both his mother and grandmother so for him to lose both so close together is devastating for him.
Whilst grieving he may also lose the family home that he grew up in and he shared with his beloved mother and grandmother. Whilst struggling with day to day life. He has applied for funding for his grandmother's funeral but it doesn't cover all the costs.
All this man wants to do is make his grandmother proud and lay her to rest without so much stress on his shoulders. Due to his income being so low he wasn't edible for a payment plan either. He is looking to raise £3250 towards the funeral costs otherwise it cannot go ahead on the
2nd February as planned.
Eleanor Margaret Wilson was a well-known face and voice in the city centre having sold the city paper for almost 25 years.
She started in 1999 having moved here from Newcastle and lived in Coundon. Eleanor sadly passed away at Beaufort Care Home on Kenilworth Road on December 24, at the age of 83.
Please let's help give her grandson some peace of mind and help towards giving her the send of she deserves.
