Hi, my name is Sonja. I organized this fundraiser to help my mother (Elizabeth) recover after losing her entire home to a fire over a week ago. On Friday night, Mar 31, 2023, my mom watched helplessly as a fire quickly destroyed her home and everything inside. We are very relieved and grateful that she made it out of the home. However, the road to recovery has proven to be totally overwhelming, so we are asking for your help.

My mom worked extremely hard for decades establishing a home for my siblings and I, and often opened our home up to others that were in need. It’s extremely difficult and heartbreaking to see her lose so much so quickly.
