Elderly Grandpa & Granddaughter Lose Everything (House Fire)

Our 75-year-old father, 11-year-old niece and their pets lost their home on 05/07/25 due to a fire. They fell victim to a cruel and deliberate act of an arsonist. We are very thankful no one was home at the time of the incident, but their home is now completely destroyed and unsalvageable due to extensive water, smoke and fire damage.

He lives on the reservation in Shiprock NM, and we are learning when extreme events like this happen, that resources for the elderly are very limited.

Our elderly father and niece are currently displaced, but our hope is to raise enough funds to get temporary shelter, like a small travel trailer on his home site, until he can get more information on how, when and if his home can be rebuilt. They have a long road ahead of them for repairs and rebuilding because everything was destroyed.
