Paralyzed Radio Pioneer Needs More Care for Wife
Now in his 90th year and a paraplegic, Will Lewis spent much of his adult working life raising millions for public radio. Will is now in the awkward position of having to raise money for himself as he can’t afford the high costs of caregivers needed to help him and his wife, Beverly, 78, who is suffering from advanced stages of Alzheimer's and
now needs more care.
Deep in debt, the couple has not been able to keep up with overwhelming expenses that cost their life savings and exhausted their pensions. In order to keep up with caregivers, home, and past/current medical costs, any donation iis greatly appreciated by this Korean War vet who served both his country and seven public broadcasting stations with hard work, class and professionalism.
