Elderly couple w/dementia from Paradise Fire

Two weeks ago the lives of Garth and Sheryl of Paradise, CA were forever changed. When the Camp Fire raged through their town of 27,000 burning everything in it's path Garth and Sheryl lost everything. The life they knew was over. Life hasn't been easy for Garth and Sheryl even before this disaster. Garth was diagnosed with dementia and Sheryl has worked tirelessly as his caretaker. Through all the trials they've been handed this couple has remained steadfast. They are highly regarded in their community and active members of their church. Garth in particular is remembered fondly by many for his leadership role within the Scouting community going all the way back to the 80's. Contributing to this GoFundMe will allow Garth and Sheryl to begin the process of rebuilding their life while also ensuring that Garth continues to receive the medical attention he needs. They are in desperate need of proper housing as well as the medical supplies essential for Garth's care. For those who suffer with dementia any disruption to their life can cause incredible amounts of anxiety and stress so it is urgent that we help them on their path to recovery. 100% of all proceeds raised from this campaign will go directly to Garth and Sheryl.
