Grandparents injured in Albion house fire

My grandparents, Vincenzo Spampanato, 81, and Felicia Spampanato, 82, had recently moved into the house on Elmwood before this tragic accident. Both were seriously injured in the house fire/explosion and are currently in guarded condition in the burn unit at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. It’s a true miracle they made it out of there alive. Some of you may know my grandpa as “Vince in the deli” at Albion Walmart. My grandpa loved what he did. When I was growing up, he owned a place called “Vince’s Deli” and it was always my favorite place to be when I was younger. My grandma has always had a love for cooking, and I could really go for one of her homemade meals right about now. They have always done so much for me, I put this together with hopes to try to help them. It’s been a devasting few days and anything is more than helpful and appreciated as my grandparents have lost everything and have a long way to go before they can begin to heal and hopefully rebuild a place they can call “home” again.
