Elchi Chai Shop

Hello friends! We're Sukaina and Sayyeda Ebrahim, founders of Elchi Chai Shop in Toronto, Ontario. We started our journey over 5 years ago when we saw that Toronto lacked good, authentic, delicious chai that’s as accessible and affordable as a cup of coffee.  We opened our doors in May of 2017 and served thousands of cups of chai to chai lovers in Toronto. Just like so many other small businesses, Elchi Chai Shop was hit hard during the pandemic, but we were able to keep our doors open and hang on for 2 years thanks to our amazingly loyal customers. Unfortunately, we were forced to close our doors at the end of January of 2022.

The good news is that many of you expressed interest in making Elchi’s chai in the comfort of your home, and that's exactly what we are planning now. We're in the process of packaging our loose-leaf tea, and in-house blend of spices so you can continue to enjoy delicious, rich authentic chai with the perfect balance of tea and spices, just the way it was served at Elchi Chai Shop.

This is where you come in. We're raising funds to be able to produce and package Elchi's loose-leaf tea and spice blends for retail. Every dollar counts, no amount is too small, so please donate anything you can so we can bring Elchi Chai to your home.
