Dear Echo Lake membership and friends,
As you all know based on CDC guidelines the club was closed and is now open for limited play without caddies. Echo Lake is predominately a walking club, we rely on the caddies to get the most out of our rounds and enjoy the experience.
Every day our caddies rely on regular loops to earn a living and support their families. As you know the caddies are independent contractors and not employees of ELCC. Many of our club members have generously asked how they can contribute in support of our caddies. Please consider supporting them by donating to ELCC Covid Caddie Relief Fund. We have set up a GoFundMe page, ELCC Covid Caddie Relief Fund to assist and bridge the gap for our caddies during these difficult times.
Please feel free to contribute and donate as much or as little as you would like and thank you in advance for your generosity. The caddies will be forever grateful to our membership in this time of need.
Debra Day, Clint Factor and George Paras comprise the committee organizing this effort. The funds shall be distributed directly to the Caddies.
George Paras, as part of the membership of Echo Lake Country Club will be responsible for funds raised and distributed during this campaign.
The organizing committee has consulted with our Head Golf Professional and the Director of Outside Operations in developing a list of our full time caddies.
All proceeds from this ELCC Covid Caddie Relief Fund. campaign will be deposited from GO FUND ME to a Paras and Paras Trust Account at Chase Bank, Summit New Jersey. Upon receipt of the proceeds from GO FUND ME individual trust account checks shall be issued and hand delivered to each recipient.
