It started as an idea 3 years ago and now we are already halfway into the build of the catamaran. With the completion date set for February 2025 we will be ready in March to smash the Elcano World Challenge.

What is the the Elcano World Challenge? It is to sail around the world fossil-fuel free. This challenge was conceived by the famous Jimmy Cornell, a man that has been pivotal in the sailing community for more than 40 years. With climate change as an ever-increasing threat we owe it to the planet and to our future to undertake a venture such as this to show it can be done and to get these ideas mainstream.

Unfortunately Jimmy's attempt failed so now it is now up to us the continue with the challenge.

Now, the catamaran is partly built, we have many sponsors on board ready to fit-out the boat, we have about 19 engineers donating their time to ensure that we get the best advice on every conceivable aspect of the Challenge and we have the will to do this.
