Dear Reyes and Torrado family and also closed love ones and friends of my mother and I.
I am writing to you today to let you know about the loss of my beloved mother and light of my life; my mom Elba Iris Reyes. The unexpected loss brings me deep sadness and sorrow. However there still remains the conscience belief that the beloved good people we are surrounded by are gone way too soon. My mother during the last couple of years gave all her strength and will in fighting against from the effects of her Diabetes and even recently this year going through an above knee amputation. My mom was my advocate, my guardian angel, and also my friend who always looked out for me; that's just the type of person she was.

My mother's final wishes as she had told me last year when I visited her last year was that she wanted to be cremated and rest by her parents back home in Puerto Rico. I have yet to uncover the specifics of the cremation and of any possible viewing for her beloved family and family-friends since I'm still feeling pretty devastated from the sudden loss. I plan on having the services done through De Riso funeral home in Brooklyn, New York.
The Reyes and the Torrado family and my mother's family-friends are absolutely devastated by my mother's sudden passing and are struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of the cremation expenses.
