ELBA - Burn Victim Airlifted

Hello all, my name is Angeli, and I am creating this fundraiser for my mother, Elba.

On Wednesday, September 28th, my mother, along with my cousin, were transferred by medical helicopters to regional trauma centers after a gas-related explosion in the back of our residence. This incident took place at about 4:30 p.m., and emergency responders were quick to arrive at the scene.

Due to the seriousness of their injuries, two medevac helicopters were summoned to the area and landed nearby, as both my mother and cousin suffered second and third-degree burns.

To us, any monetary amount donated would mean the world, as the only person with an income in our household is my father. We sincerely thank you in advance for all of your generous donations.

The doctors have estimated the long recovery to take (2-3) months, and transportation costs along with daily hospitalization (pre-surgery), daily medications, pre-surgery treatment, anesthesia, surgeon’s fee, surgery, daily hospitalization (post-surgery), amongst other surgical costs are extremely high as we do not qualify to be covered by any medical insurances. These are all self-pay expenses that, alone, we are not able to cover. For this reason, I am asking for your help.

My mom is a woman who has always been filled with joy. She really enjoys helping people and serving in our local community - never would have I ever imagined seeing my mom go through such a hard situation. I ask God to help us overcome our emotions and that this message touches your heart.
