Elayna's Battle to fight cancer...
Her story: Elayna first discovered she had colon cancer November 2019. After completing multiple surgeries and chemo treatments to cure her colon cancer the doctors discovered three spots of stage 4 cancer during a follow up visit; one in each of the lower lobes of the lungs and a larger inoperable one in the pelvic cavity. She is also seeking treatment for her neuropathy (nerve damage from chemo) to treat the numbness in her hands, feet and legs. Thankfully she has discovered an integrative oncologist specializing in whole health treatments of cancer. While she will be able to receive some treatments in Iowa, in the coming months she will need to travel to California to visit her oncologist and complete other treatments. The testing, treatments, technologies and supplements are largely not covered by insurance. The costs associated with traveling to California to see her oncologists and receive needed treatments are also not covered. As you can imagine, the costs are staggering and this is after already completing an expensive battle with cancer including surgeries and chemo. On behalf of Elayna and her family, I appreciate the outpouring of love, prayers and support shown the last few months and undoubtedly, in the months to come. If you would like to assist with their financial burden, any donation would be greatly appreciated. All funds raised will go directly toward Elayna's medical expenses and related travel expenses for their family.
