A little about us:

Elayna (24 yrs) and Michelle (26 yrs) are two aspiring multi-disciplinary artists, dedicated to pursuing and sharing the powerful and healing influence of art. Both are working towards their undergraduate degree at Kennesaw State University while working as restaurant servers and freelance artists to sustain themselves. They are ready and hope to make a larger impact on the community via their business, Open Hand Studios, by offering art in public spaces, at markets in low-income communities, and online for others outside of the community to appreciate. To make this dream a reality, they need sustainable and reliable equipment such as a personal kiln, a pottery wheel, website resources, and community art opportunities. Additionally, attention on their social media platforms is another incredibly beneficial way to uplift the success of Open Hand Studio. Community support, whether it be financial or social, will make a profound impact on Elayna and Michelle's business and creative journey.
