Elana, a wonderful single mother of two beautiful girls, was brutally attacked in her home in the summer of 2021. She bravely escaped the attack and has bravely survived and continued working and showing up as a great mother daily for her girls and running her farm, all while dealing with court proceedings and doing the difficult work of healing. Her attacker is finally going to be tried for his crimes, and Elana will have to face him at trial beginning in June.

I'm raising funds to help offset the many costs Elana is paying as she faces trial (financial, emotional, physical, mental etc.) including time off work. If you have ever faced any kind of abuse or trauma, you know just how admirable it is that Elana continues to function and has the courage to face her attacker, and how stressful it can be trying to keep everything afloat as a single mom facing difficult circumstances.
