Elais & Koda

Hello. My name is Shae and we have put this gofundme together to help my sister, Elais.

A terrible tragedy occurred last Saturday - Elais’ house burnt down in Cowaramup. She went out for half an hour and when she got back, her whole life was gone due to an electrical fault in a device within the household.

She lost everything apart from the clothes she and her son were wearing.

Elais has grown up in the Margaret River area and is loved by all those who know her. Her 4 year old son, Koda is a lovely little boy and they need our help. Elais is a single mum on a pension and has no excess funds.

They now have nothing. Literally nothing. Family and friends are helping wherever we can but we need to organise some funds so that Elais and Koda can purchase the basics which we take for granted. This includes some food basics, toiletries, clothing and a few toys or a bike etc for Koda, and possibly a car for them as that burnt as well. We have had offers of all sorts of goods but Elais and Koda don’t currently have a house so have nowhere to store these kind donations. Elais is staying with family at the moment but is a long way from town and is basically trapped there without a car. As you can imagine she has a lot to organise.

Please donate what you can and as a community, let’s help Elais and Koda get back on their feet. It won’t replace everything they have lost but it’s a start. A little gift from you is a massive help for them.
