Elaine , who only recently joined Hwa Rang Kwan but has quickly become a wonderful member of our community, tore her ACL at the end of her 2nd Dan Black Belt test on December 10th. As she had only recently moved to San Francisco, she only had travelers' insurance, and had to get her initial treatment in urgent care. She is quickly racking up medical bills ($1300 so far), and there's no guarantee that when her Kaiser insurance kicks in, it will cover her surgery costs.

While Elaine feels as though she doesn't deserves a GoFundMe while there are people starving in the street and otherwise in dire need, I promised to raise money for her because she has a big heart and a kind nature, and because we all want to see her in Taekwondo class again in 2017.

So, long story short, if you can donate a little towards her medcial bills, I would be grateful, and I know that Elaine would be too.
