As many of you know, Elaine from The Candy Shack is fighting Cancer. She has seen her oncologist last Saturday and shall start another course of Chemotherapy but this treatment is different to the previous as in Elaine has been informed this is a really harsh and severe type of Chemotherapy which will make her very poorly. This will drop her blood count white cells and hemoglobin levels amongst other potential severe side effects.
She has tirelessly worked at her Business over 17 years at The Candy Shack. Opening 7 days per week and only closing Christmas day and boxing day. So many years of making all who shop with her, happy and smiling.
Elaine herself, hand making all the beautiful hampers and sweet explosions and putting so many smiles on our children's faces. Those who dont collect their orders at Christmas time, Elaine takes them to Blackpool Vic to have them given to the Childrens Ward for those unfortunate to have to spend Christmas in hospital.
Elaine is hoping to try different treatments within the Private sector which of course does not come without cost. The cost of this treatment is over £8000. Along side her Chemotherapy, this may give her a better outcome and hopefully with this combination will come a longer life. This go fund is to kindly ask all and anyone to kindly donate to her fight for her survival. We all wish to live a long healthy life and be around our families our children/Grandchildren and friends as long as possible.
I’m sure we can all agree Elaine is such a selfless, kind hearted lady. Even under her current circumstances she continues supporting local groups, organisations and charity’s which again shows kindness and caring for those most in need. Elaine is a huge support to Behind closed doors, her selfless acts of kindness makes such a difference to the lives of others.
If you can donate any amount at all no matter how big or small, I know Elaine and family would be very grateful, helping her to survive this cruel illness.
Keep fighting Elaine, we have all got your back ❤️
