Homegoing For Elaine Thompson

“Elaine received her wings late Monday night December 3, 2018"

Elaine and I were married for 20 years. We began as best friends and were finding our way back to being good friends.  She was a wife, sister, auntie and fierce friend.

A lifelong member of her community, her passing at such a young age has been a shock to everyone.  She stood by me through my career in uniform, so now I need help standing by her one last time.

Thanks to all of my family, friends and acquaintances for their outpouring of love and support.  I pray my friend is now at peace...with herself most of all. She will always have a special place in my heart.
