Hello Friends and Family,
My mother Elaine Meyer passed away yesterday, August 26th after an incredibly hard struggle with Liver failure. She was an incredible person with a passion for helping and teaching children with special needs. She was an absolute joy to be around and was one of the most optimistic people I’ve ever known, even in her very last days she beamed her smile to anyone that came to visit. We are left with a huge hole in our hearts which will be filled with happy memories of her. She leaves behind a loving husband, her two daughters, her grandson, mother, mother in law, siblings, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and countless lifelong Friends. During this difficult time while we all try and heal, my father is left with an incredible about of medical, long term care, and hospice costs. My family would be extremely greatful for any donation towards the funeral and medical care costs as well as a memorial. My mother loved Texas so much, she left a piece of her heart here with myself and my son. We plan to spread her ashes in Big Bend National Park, a place she absolutely loved and talked about frequently. Thank you for your support during this time. I will update the page with memorial information as soon as it’s available.
