Elaine's Celebration of Life
Donation protected
It is with great sorrow that I announce the passing of my mother, Elaine Hernandez. She gained her wings and went to walk with the angels early Tuesday morning on August 18th while courageously fighting pancreatic cancer. While we are all shocked and devastated by her sudden passing, there is some comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering and that she has been reunited in heaven with my little sister, Danielle.
My mother was beautiful, kind, funny, sassy, stubborn, giving and extremely loving. She was an incredible sister to her surviving siblings, and an amazing grandma to her two grandsons who adored being around and playing with her. She instantly made friends wherever she went and became a second mom and mentor to many students over the years while working as a school secretary. Mom made a lasting impression in everyone’s lives and was loved by many. Cheerful, positive and determined - she remained this way to the very end. Her kind and warm nature and her beautiful smile will not be forgotten. To know her was to love her.
Many of you have reached out asking how you can help my family and me during this time. We appreciate your thoughtfulness, and we ask for prayers that we may find peace and comfort during this difficult time. We are accepting donations to help pay for my mother's funeral arrangements and expenses.
We thank you for all the love and support we have received during this time.
