Elaine Gregson Ventura was not only a mother to Mikey Schwartz, Gunnar Schwartz, and me; she was a mother to so many of our friends while growing up. Her and Choppers (her dog) untimely death has stunned us all. She was such a sweet, caring woman that still had so much more life to live.
My family, brothers, and I are trying to give our mother the funeral that she deserves; but with how sudden she was taken and how expensive funerals can be, we are coming up short.
