Elaina's Journey: Help Bobby and Megan

Hello, I’m making this GoFundMe for my daughter because right now their focus is on their precious baby girl.

Elaina Faith was born on 6/12/2025. She was born early at 37 weeks. Due to trouble breathing, she was put on CPAP immediately and taken to the NICU. After battling a fever and unable to pinpoint cause. The doctors did several tests: spinal tap and a CAT scan. The CAT scan showed multiple brain bleeds so they did an EEG and MRI with blood flow studies to find out the cause and if there is permanent damage. Results showed Elaina was without oxygen at some point during labor. We will not know severity of long term effects and she will be checked periodically as she grows to determine any special care needs. She was also born with a tongue tie.

6/24/25 update: Elaina’s first pediatrician visit. She will have another CT scan in July to check status of brain bleeds. The biggest concern right now is to see if she needs a shunt put in.

Right now, the parents, Megan and Bobby, are glad to have Elaina out of NICU. Now comes the road to determining special needs our sweet girl will need.
