Welcome to my GoFundMe page for my dance intensive at  the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company this summer - July 7-August 1st! My name is Elah Sordean and I have been dancing for 6 years, since 4th grade. My passion for dance has grown since joining the Shawl Anderson Youth Ensemble (SAYE) in Berkeley. SAYE has been an incredible experience-- learning from talented guest choreographers and from my fellow dancers.

Because my dance career goals are to advance my technique and develop my artistry, I want to commit my summer to study dance in Israel under the superb training and instruction of the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company. This program is a perfect fit for me for 3 reasons-- I get to advance my dancing abilities, I will be immersed in Israeli culture and summertime weather, and I will be living communally with dancers from around the world.

I can't wait to be dancing in the four-week intensive in Israel this summer, and I can’t do it without your help!
