Our beloved Ela has embarked on a journey to heaven. Ela was one of a kind type of person: son, brother, family member, friend. Ela lived his life to the fullest, and enjoyed every moment with his familia and friends. Ela fought until his last breath and passed away peacefully at home, sorrounded by his familia.

Ela had many adventures in the outdoors including fishing, hiking, jumping off cliffs, snorkling, camping, cooking the fish he caught, climbing trees, kayaking, float tubing, hunting, gardening and much more. Ela was kind, compassionate, very humorous, loved to laugh, stood up for what he believed in and was a significant supporter of many communities including the LGBTQ community.

Ela was very proud to have graduated from San Diego State Univeristy with a Bachelor's degree in criminal justice. He proudly dedicated his degree to his familia, especially to the younger generation. His legacy will forever live in our hearts.
