Two weeks ago Steve Herndon had reconstruction foot surgery to repair an injury he sustained while coaching his girls' varsity basketball team.  He is now battling a serious infection that will prevent him from working for at least the next several weeks and may require amputation of his toe and/or removal of all hardware used to reconstruct his foot.  He has no sick days or short term disability and used all of his vacation time for the first surgery. The purpose of this account is to remove the financial stress so he only needs to concern himself with making a full recovery. After all, basketball season is quickly approaching and our team needs its coach!
