As the Senior Pastors of our beloved organization, we are thrilled to share a monumental milestone with you - after seven years of sharing spaces with others, we are thrilled to announce that El Santuario has now secured its own dedicated location!

El Santuario has been a spiritual home for many, fostering a diverse community bound by a common faith. With great joy, we announce the signing of a lease for our dedicated sanctuary. We embark on this new chapter with a humble request for your support. To transform this space into a true haven for worship, fellowship, and outreach, we are seeking generous donations.

Our goal is to furnish our new location with all the essentials that will allow us to enhance the worship experience, enabling us to continue our community and family-focused initiatives. Your contributions will directly impact the lives touched by El Santuario every week, as we aim to create a warm and welcoming environment.

Mission:

Our mission at El Santuario is to represent the faith and brotherhood ordained by God, being a local expression of the Universal Church guided by Jesus Christ through His Holy Spirit. We fulfill this through worship services, fostering Christian growth, proclaiming the Gospel with words and actions, and addressing human needs in the name of Jesus. Specifically, we strive to faithfully minister the Word of God, conduct various worship services, collaborate with community organizations, and use various means to spread the Gospel.

Vision:

The vision of El Santuario is to be a family in faith, ensuring that no one faces life's challenges alone. We are committed to creating a community where mutual support and care are paramount. Our main goal is to help each person discover their unique purpose in Christ, fostering a sense of belonging, unity, and a purposeful life in our diverse congregation.

Our Story:

"TSF Español was founded in October 2016 by pastors Humberto and Alicia Bocachica. The first service took place on April 23, 2017 in our first shared space.

Pastors Humberto and Alicia have over 30 years of experience in ministerial leadership. They served twenty-one of those years as directors of Rap Fest, a local outreach ministry with global impact through Christian rap music. Both have been involved in worship teams and have traveled with ministries spreading the Gospel.

After serving as pastors of the Young Adults ministry in the church for several years, they assumed the role of lead pastors of TSF Español - El Santuario, ordained by The Sanctuary Fellowship in 2016, following God's calling in their lives.

In October 2019, the church's name was officially changed to "Iglesia Cristiana El Santuario" and moved into our next shared space. Here we are seven years later with the same vision, mission, and passion and excited about our next chapter.

Project Overview:

El Santuario, a vibrant bible-teaching, spiritual community in the Bronx, is embarking on an exciting journey as we prepare to open our dedicated space by February 1, 2024. Our primary objective is to fully furnish the venue with the necessary equipment to elevate and maintain our weekly services both for our in-person congregation and our online audience.

Goals and Objectives:

Create a Welcoming Environment:

● Acquire comfortable seating, aesthetically pleasing decor, and lighting to ensure a warm and inviting atmosphere for in-person attendees.

● Continue providing a visually appealing backdrop for our online broadcasts, maintaining a connection and engagement with our virtual audience.

Enhance Worship Experience:

● Install a high-quality sound system comparable to what we have used for the past seven years, to maintain the recognizable sound and quality of our worship services.

● Invest in multimedia equipment, including televisions, cameras and computers, to continue offering a captivating and helpful visual presentation during our services and events.

Community Outreach and Engagement:

● Prepare our space for community events, workshops, and outreach programs that align with our mission and vision.

● Creatively develop a designated area for fellowship after services to maintain our community bonding.

Stewardship of Resources:

● Seek sustainable and eco-friendly options when acquiring furnishings and equipment to align with our commitment to responsible stewardship.

● Explore partnerships with local businesses or organizations to maximize resources and support the community.

Your support through this grant will play a pivotal role in realizing these goals and ensuring that our space is equipped to serve both our local and virtual communities effectively.
