Life of Don Pankievicz

We lost one of our brothers in public works recently. Don Pankievicz fought the good fight to protect our community, his team, and provide for his family. “Brotherhood” is something  he instilled in our culture at the City of Omaha sewer maintenance division. He exemplified  what it means to be a family. He wasTHE family man. Donnie was fun-loving, comical, bright light to his work group.  His devotion and love to his wife and 4 beautiful children radiated. He sacrificed much to be a servant to the public, but he never let his long hours and late night calls dissuade him from a positive outlook and the joy he brought to his family each and everyday.  

This go fund me is being set up by his colleagues at Sewer Maintinance division. We all know he touched many lives outside of our department and want to give each an opportunity to support the family, show care, and provide as an extended family would. 

please keep Don’s wife Ellen and children Blake, Franky, Bella and Evangeline, as well as his extended family and friends, in our thoughts.  and prayers.
